Manual collection of documents and information

Please note that documents and personal information sent to us must be done exclusively via the secure document transmission platform, Microsoft SharePoint, made available to all our clients when they open their files. Clients are responsible for using this platform to send us the documents and information required for their file in a secure and confidential manner. If you do not already have access to our secure transmission platform, please contact us so that a secure sharing space can be made available to you. Customers who deliberately use another means of communication are then responsible for choosing a transmission vehicle that ensures the protection of their information.

The information held in our files is used in accordance with the laws in force and is collected via the secure document transmission platform, Microsoft SharePoint, made available to all our customers to ensure the confidentiality of information. The client is responsible for sending all required documentation and information, and any document that may contain personal information, via the secure platform provided by the Aristeío Groupe Conseils Inc. representative.

The client is the only person authorized to obtain the personal information kept on file. No request from a third party will be accepted.

Personal information collected non-automatically on our website

Information collected non-automatically on our website is collected voluntarily when you send us online forms to communicate with us (contact form) or to subscribe to our newsletters via the home page.

When you communicate using these forms, you must provide us with the following information: your name, e-mail address and write your message in the space provided. Our staff will treat these emails with the same level of confidentiality as they do for manual document and information collection.

As part of the services offered by our suppliers and for promotional purposes

From time to time, we may work with external service providers or subcontractors in order to offer a superior service, ensure proper administration of our services or respond to your requests. Before sending them any information, these suppliers or agents must undertake to comply with the legislation on the protection of personal information, are bound by a confidentiality agreement and must use the information provided solely in connection with the services intended for Aristeío.

 a) Newsletters and satisfaction surveys

We may occasionally use your personal data to send you our newsletter by e-mail via the MailChimp platform, an American company whose servers are located in the United States. You can change your consent at any time by unsubscribing or informing us that you no longer wish to receive these newsletters.

We also use your data to send you satisfaction surveys using a Microsoft Forms form. You may complete and return the form to us on a voluntary basis only.

b) Use of Google Analytics

Aristeío uses Google Analytics, a web analytics tool, on this website.

Google Analytics uses “cookies” to collect information about your use of the website, which is stored on servers located in the United States. Google may pass this information on to third parties where required to do so by law or where such third parties process the data on Google’s behalf.

The information collected by the tool includes, for example, the pages you visit, the date, time, duration and frequency of your visits and the links you click on. The type and language of your computer’s operating system, the name of your Internet service provider and your geographical location (region) are also part of the information collected. Your IP address is also collected, but it is anonymised (truncated) to ensure the confidentiality of information about you. Anonymising an IP address prevents the identity of an Internet user from being known through it.

If you wish, you can prevent Google from recording information about your browsing by installing the Google Analytics deactivation browser add-on on your computer.

c) Cookie policy

A cookie is a small file stored on a user’s hard drive by the website. Its purpose is to collect data relating to the user’s browsing habits.

We use the following cookies on our site:

i) Analytical cookies

This allows us to improve the design and functionality of our site by collecting data about the content you access and engage with while using our site.

ii) Targeting cookies

These cookies collect data about how you use the site and your preferences. This allows us to make the information you see on our site more promotional and targeted to you.

You can choose to be notified each time a cookie is sent. You can also choose to disable cookies entirely in your web browser or via the form available when you visit our website, but this may reduce the quality of your user experience.

Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be amended from time to time to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes to our data collection process. We recommend that our users check our policy from time to time to ensure that they are aware of any updates. If necessary, we may notify users by email of changes to this policy.
